Stage 1 tuning is the first step for a standard or near-standard vehicle. It gives stronger power, torque and response without requiring hardware changes. Our files are developed on a 4x4 dyno.
Stage 1 is a custom ECU tune for supported vehicles running standard or near-standard hardware. The modified file is built from the original file, vehicle data and ECU information supplied with the request.
Upload the original ECU file and provide the vehicle, ECU and read-tool information. BPT checks the request, builds the modified file and returns it through the portal. We work with professional tools including WinOLS, AutoTuner and AutoFlasher. Typical delivery is 15-45 minutes for supported requests, depending on file complexity and workload.
A correctly matched Stage 1 file can improve power, torque, throttle response and the shape of the power delivery. Results vary by engine, software, fuel, hardware and mechanical condition.
Stage 1 is available for a broad range of supported control units and vehicle types. Final availability is confirmed from the exact original file and identification.
